The Origin of Fibromelanosis Using Genetic Comparison Between Indonesian Cemani Chicken and Other Domesticated Chickens

The study aimed to know the genetic structure of duplication in the Fibromelanosis region of Cemani chicken; to investigate the artificial selection in the duplicated segments and surrounding region of Fm region in Cemani and Silkie chicken and to elucidate the evolutionary history of Fm phenotype in both Cemani and Silkie chickens.
