本数据集以积雪产品MOD10A1以及MYD10A1为基础，通过8个步骤逐步将云像素重新分类为积雪或陆地。其中经过上下午星合成、三天合成、“长时间”积雪陆地方法、邻近四像元法、高程滤波方法、修改阴影区错误分类、最大积雪陆地范围掩膜这7个步骤，获得MODIS少云积雪产品，将逐日无云积雪产品的云面积降至平均约5.1%，而精度损失较小。最后，采用拟合预期雪线方法，去除全部云污染，从而获得亚洲高山区MODI
