Screening of solvents and excipients as heteronucleation templates for amlodipine besylate – optical microscopy and SEM images
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains optical microscopy and SEM images - partial results of ManCoProc project – ‘Advanced manufacturing of drug substances by co-processing with excipients through heteronucleation in a milifluidic device’. The aim was to develop a co-processing (CP) method based on antisolvent crystallisation process in a milifluidic T-mixer for amlodipine besylate as a model drug with common excipients used for direct compression. Optical microscopy was used on slurry samples to verify if crystallisation of amlodipine had taken place on the surface of excipient particles at given process conditions. The protocol and results of screened combinations of different solvents and excipients are collected in ‘Microscope_CP_screen’. Other folders of the dataset contain supportive microscopic images as reference point for the co-processing results: 'Amlodipine_images’ – optical microscopy and SEM images of raw amlodipine besylate as received; optical microscopy of the solid amlodipine besylate from shake-flask solubility study in acetone:water 30:70 ‘Excipient_images’ – optical microscopy and SEM images of pure excipients ‘Microscope_pure_amlodipine_MeOH’ – optical microscopy images from antisolvent crystallisation experiments in methanol without excipients The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement no. 101152117, ManCoProc.
