This volume is an annotated copy of the general directions issued for the guidance of Land Board Officers by the Ministerial Branch of the Lands Department. These general directions supersede all circulars and circular letters issued prior to 31 March 1913. Each branch of the Land Board kept its own copy of these directions and presumably this copy was one held by such a branch. The directions cover all phases of administration of a Land Board Office.
