The effect of short-term fasting in E4bp4-KO mice liver.

This study explores the transcriptional responses of the liver in E4bp4-knockout (KO) mice to short-term fasting, aiming to elucidate the role of the E4bp4 gene in metabolic adaptation. Utilizing RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), we compare the liver transcriptomes across four groups: wild-type (WT) fed, WT fasted, E4bp4-KO fed, and E4bp4-KO fasted mice, with fasting initiated from Zeitgeber Time (ZT) 0 to ZT2. Each group consists of three male mice, totaling 12 subjects.
