Study on elevation adaptation mechanism of Quercus variabilis

We focused on Quercus variabilis distributed at elevations of 800, 1000, 1300, 1400 m in a warm-temperate forest in China, conducting a comprehensive analysis of its leaf functional traits, metabolome, and transcriptome to systematically elucidate the elevation adaptation mechanism of this species. This study has a profound impact on exploring the development direction and ecological strategies of plants in the context of global environmental change.
