Haploid genetic screens carried out in HAP1 cells using gene-trap mutagenesis (as described in Brockmann et al, Nature, 2017) for the abundance of lipid droplets that were detected by fluorescent labelling using Bodipy493/503. Screens were carried out in wild-type cells that were exposed to a 24hr pulse of oleic acid or in DGAT1/DGAT2 double knockout cells or in TMX1-deficient cells.
