This dataset contains an exceptional sequence in terms of duration of the quiet sun observed with the Broad band Filter Imager (BFI) and the Narrow band Filter Imager (NFI) onboard the HINODE satellite (Solar Optical Telescope, SOT) from 30 December 2008 to 5 January 2009. The NFI provided Stokes V/I (proxy of the Line Of Sight, LOS, magnetic field) in NaD1 line wing while the BFI provided images of the granulation (G band) in the photosphere and above in the chromosphere (CaII H, inverted granulation). The spatial pixel is 0.16” and the Field Of View (FOV) 112” x 112”. The FOV is equatorial. The sequence shows the evolution, during the solar rotation, of concentrated magnetic fields and their counterparts in the form of bright points in photospheric and chromospheric intensities.
