Myxobacteria are a group of gliding predatory Gram-negative bacteria that can produce various biologically active secondary metabolites and a diverse range of hydrolytic enzymes. They have significant research value in the fields of agriculture, medicine, and food. In this study, a strain of Myxobacteria was isolated from the soil of Yuncheng salt lake using the induction method with Escherichia coli. The strain was characterized by observing its fruiting bodies and colony morphology, conducting physiological and biochemical analyses, and 16S rRNA gene sequence homology analysis.
