Consultation cases on psychological child abuse Japan FY 2012-2021

In the fiscal year 2021, the number of psychological child abuse cases reported at child guidance centers amounted to around 124.7 thousand, significantly up from about 22.4 thousand in fiscal 2012. The total number of consultation cases on abuse of children reached close to 208 thousand in fiscal 2021.
