The Diphtheria Database is a professional infectious disease database established by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC). It collects all diphtheria case data since the launch of online direct reporting in 2004. The database provides multi-dimensional statistical information including the number of incident cases, incidence rate, number of deaths and mortality rate, categorized by region, age group, gender, occupation and disease type. This database is primarily used for diphtheria epidemiological research and decision support for disease prevention and control.
