Promoting Plant Growth in Cold Environments: A Study on the Functional and Genomic Traits of Ewingella and Pseudomonas Endophytes

This study focuses on Ewingella sp. S1.OA.A_B6 and Pseudomonas sp. S2.OTC.A_B10, cold-tolerant endophytic bacteria isolated from Antarctic pearlwort (Colobanthus quitensis). These bacteria, as part of the complex microbial communities in cold environments, enhance plant growth under cold stress. Our aim is to explore the functional and genomic characteristics that enable these bacteria to promote plant growth and mitigate cold stress.
