资源简介:
The dataset contains the raw data from a study called "Transgenerational Imprints of Sequential Herbivory on Soybean Physiology and Fitness Traits". In this study, we investigated how the sequential attack by two lepidopteran pests, like Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) and Soybean looper (Chrysodeixis includens) would affect the plant physiological and fitness traits in next generation. In this experiment, parental plants were subjected to different herbivory attack sequences; but in the transgenerational analysis, only the two treatment combinations (FAW-SL and SL-FAW) were focussed. This experiment includes the data from germination, nitrogen percentage, detailed physiological data at two phenological stages (V3 and R2 stages). We also looked at the trichome density of leaves at V3 and R3 stages. Fitness related traits include flowering data, early and final pod number, pod weight, number of one-, two-, three- and empty seeded pods. Root data using winRhizo has been also included. The Excel file is organized into individual sheets corresponding to each figure in the main manuscript and supplementary figures.
