Work, lifestyle and health, 2003

Statistics Norway recieved a request from Toril Hammer at NOVA in December 2002, to repeat the survey "Work, lifestyle and health" that was carried through for the first time in 1985, and has been followed up with new surveys in 1987, 1989 and 1993. The aim of the survey is to map out young peoples' career paths, uenmployment and drug abuse. The same sample of almost 2000 young people have been followed up in all the previous surveys. The data material is unique in Norway, and we have experienced much interest for the results among researchers, politicians and media. This survey has followed the same group of people over a period of 18 years. Toril Hammer has made a considerable contribution by sendinging ut results and information through the years.
