To identify potential targets of somatic PLD6-dependent small RNAs we sequenced the transcriptome of the PLD6-knockdown HEK293T cells and analyzed the differential expression in comparison to non-target control HEK293T cells. Overall design: HEK293T cells were transfected with anti-PLD6 siRNA or a non-target siRNA, total RNA was isolated 48 h after transfection, RNA libraries were generated and paired-end deep sequenced on a BGISEQ platform.
