Active Layer measurements were taken on a 30 plot subset within the Arctic System Science (ARCSS) Grid in Atqasuk, Alaska during the 2012 summer field season. Each measurement was taken on the north eastern most corner of each plot. The chosen subset was located from E2-E6 and J2-J6. The System Ecology Laboratory (SEL) Circum-polar Active Layer Monitoring (CALM) depth probe was used to take the measurements.
