Replication materials for Alexeev & Weatherburn (2026), “Clean Slate, Same Fate: Judge–Design Evidence on the Limits of Conviction Avoidance”. This record contains the full Stata log of the main analysis (PCA_run.log), the master Stata do‑file used to construct offence‑severity and reoffending measures from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR) Reoffending Database (ROD) extract (FATE‑SLATE --- 03 Jan 26.do), and the MSR‑2018 offence‑severity mapping used in the paper (ROD standard output variable list 201903.xlsx). The underlying ROD microdata are not included because they are confidential administrative data supplied by BOCSAR and cannot be shared. Researchers wishing to replicate or extend the analysis must apply directly to BOCSAR for access to a comparable extract covering NSW Local Court PCA and related traffic matters finalised between January 2014 and December 2019. This version 0.9 package corresponds to the preprint version dated 4 January 2026. Future updates of the paper will, where necessary, be accompanied by updated versions of this replication package.
