Cellular elemental content of individual phytoplankton cells collected during US GEOTRACES North Atlantic Transect cruises in the Subtropical western and eastern North Atlantic Ocean during Oct and Nov, 2010 and Nov. 2011

<p>Individual phytoplankton cells were collected on the GEOTRACES North Atlantic Transect cruises were analyzed for elemental content using SXRF (Synchrotron radiation X-Ray Fluorescence). Carbon was calculated from biovolume using the relationships of Menden-Deuer &amp; Lessard (2000). Trace metal concentrations are reported.</p>

<p>本数据集针对全球海洋痕量元素循环研究计划（GEOTRACES）北大西洋断面航次所采集的单个浮游植物细胞，采用同步辐射X射线荧光光谱法（SXRF, Synchrotron radiation X-Ray Fluorescence）开展元素含量分析。生物碳含量基于细胞生物体积，通过Menden-Deuer与Lessard（2000）建立的经验关系计算得到，本数据集同时报道了痕量金属浓度数据。</p>
