Saxifraga giraldiana plastome

Many Saxifraga species distribute in high-altitude areas, and some species, including S. giraldiana, lack genetic data, which hinders a comprehensive understanding of their phylogenetic position and the biogeographical history of this group. To fill this gap, we assembled and characterized the complete chloroplast genome of S. giraldiana in this study, which can lay the foundation for future research on the evolution, protection, and potential medicinal applications of S. giraldiana.
