These letters concern the various matters under the care of the Collector of Internal Revenue (Revenue Branch after 1836), except land matters. Letters concern: payment of revenue debts; of toll rents; auction sale tax; requests for licences for auctioneers; the same for tollgate keepers; accompanying letters for revenue sent to the Collector, etc. In the first three volumes, letters are addressed to the Collector of Internal Revenue; in volume 4/4 they are predominantly addressed to the Colonial Treasurer.(4/1-4). 4 vols.
