全民健保建議以醣化血紅素(HbA1c)或糖化白蛋白(glycated albumin)、空腹血脂(Fasting lipid profile)、眼底檢查或眼底彩色攝影、尿液蛋白質(微量白蛋白)四項指標作為病患就醫前評量醫療院所對糖尿病患的照護品質參考。(備註：106年起修正分子定義，增加糖化白蛋白檢查)
The National Health Insurance recommends using four indicators, including glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) or glycated albumin, fasting lipid profile, fundus examination or fundus color photography, and urine protein (microalbumin), as reference measures for evaluating the quality of care provided by healthcare institutions for diabetic patients before patients seek medical treatment. (Note: The molecular definition was revised starting from 106, with the addition of glycated albumin testing.)
