该数据是以青藏高原1:50万地质图为基础,参照国标《工程岩体分级标准》(GB50218-2014)岩石饱和单轴抗压强度UCS及其对应的代表性岩石,将岩石类别划分为坚硬岩组、较坚硬岩组、较软弱岩组、软弱岩组和松散岩组五类。工程地质岩组是构成岩土体的主要物质成分,是工程设计的依据,是评价岩土体工程稳定性的必要条件,同时可以作为灾害风险分析的评价因子,避免了由于岩性种类过多对风险评价造成的困难,未来可应用于青藏高原重大工程建设和灾害风险分析 。

This dataset is constructed based on the 1:500,000 geological map of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and classifies rocks into five groups, namely hard rock group, relatively hard rock group, relatively soft rock group, soft rock group and loose rock group, with reference to the uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) of saturated rocks and their corresponding representative rocks stipulated in the Chinese national standard Standard for Classification of Engineering Rock Masses (GB50218-2014). Engineering geological rock groups are the primary material components forming rock and soil masses, serving as the basis for engineering design, a prerequisite for assessing the engineering stability of rock and soil masses, and can also act as evaluation factors for disaster risk analysis, thereby eliminating the challenges in risk assessment arising from the excessive variety of rock types. This dataset holds potential applications in major engineering construction and disaster risk analysis on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the future.
