Crude oil polluted soil metagenomes. CBC/D Project

This study compares microbial diversity, functional profile, and metabolic activities of microorganisms in two hydrocarbon polluted sites in Rivers State, Nigeria. the soil samples were collected using standard methods and transported to the laboratory for analysis. The soil samples were processed and analyzed with the Zymobiomics shotgun metagenomic sequencing services. Sample processing includes DNA extraction, library preparation, and metagenomic DNA sequencing.
