<b>A database for modeling the mobility of microblade-based societies over East Asia since 46 ka BP</b>

We compiled a comprehensive database of sites featuring microblade remains across East Asia and applied Binford's framework of reference to our analysis. Geographically, the northernmost site located at 63°N and the southernmost site at 33°N. This database includes detailed records from 112 microlithic sites and encompasses a total of 612 dating entries, with age ranges spanning from 46 to 10 ka BP. For our analysis, we employed the Binford (2001) model acquire over 267 variables. The spatial range covers longitudes from 83°E to 160°E and latitudes from 27°N to 63°N, with a grid pixel value of 0.2°×0.2°. This work elucidates the intricate interplay between environmental conditions and human adaptation during significant periods of microlithic culture. Our findings underscore the dynamic relationship between climate change and subsistence strategies, illustrating how ancient populations navigated and responded to their ever-evolving landscapes. This research not only enhances our understanding of prehistoric lifestyles but also highlights the resilience and adaptability of human societies in the face of environmental challenges.
