Genomic sequences of two isolates of bovine viral diarrhoea virus (BVDV) type 1a from New Zealand cattle

Full genomic sequences were of two isolates of bovine viral diarrhea virus subtype 1a from New Zealand cattle were generated using both Illumina and Nanopore sequencing. The viruses showed cytopathic (Bovax) or non-cytopathic (28326) phenotype in cell culture. More single-nucleotide polymorphism sites were detected using Illumina sequencing than Nanopore sequencing.
