Insured losses from flooding in France 1984-2022

The insured losses caused by severe flooding events in France amounted to 301 million euros in 2022, a decrease of nearly 40 percent from the previous year. Since 1984, the year with the highest flooding-related insured losses in France was 1993, with 1.8 billion euros worth of damages.
