This dataset provides a categorized political vocabulary dictionary used to measure politicization in media coverage of Chinese youth across Chinese, Singaporean, and U.S. contexts from 2013 to 2023. It includes political actors, institutions, ideologies, and policy terms. The dictionary was applied to a corpus of 1,147 news articles from The Straits Times in a quantitative content analysis framework.
