RNAseq data of Hyles euphorbiae tissues exposed to control and toxin-containing diet

Adapted to different ecological niches, Hyles species exhibit a spectacular diversity of larval color patterns. With about 7.5 Mya, Hyles is rather young genus, making it an interesting genus to study a wide range of questions including the process of speciation, ecological adaptation and adaptive radiation. Here we present a high-quality nuclear and mitochondrial genome assembly of the bat hawkmoth Hyles vespertilio, the first reference genome assembly of a member of the Hyles genus.
