PM2.5 Exposure, Social Vulnerability, and Chronic Disease Prevalence: Merged Census Tract-Level Dataset for 498 U.S. Cities, 2016–2022

Census tract-level analytical dataset compiled for examining environmental justice disparities in PM2.5 exposure and chronic disease prevalence across 498 U.S. cities. Integrates annual PM2.5 concentration estimates from the Atmospheric Composition Analysis Group (Washington University in St. Louis), Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) scores and thematic components from the CDC/ATSDR, and chronic disease prevalence estimates (asthma, diabetes, COPD, coronary heart disease, and cancer) from the CDC PLACES dataset. Compiled for the period 2016–2022 at the census tract-year level
