This array set was used to identify gene expressions that are affected by the absence of the orphan G-protein-coupled receptor Gpr176 in the mouse suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN). C57BL/6J WT or Gpr176−/− mice were entrained on a 12-h light:12-h dark cycle for > 2 weeks and released into constant darkness. The SCN were isolated by laser microdissection from 10 individual animals and pooled for a single DNA microarray analysis, at either circadian time (CT) 6 or CT18 (n = 2 biological replicates at each time point per genotype). CT6 and CT18 correspond, respectively, to 6 and 18 hours after presumptive onset of daytime under constant darkness.
