Sequence of Cassiopea jellyfish acquired from De Jong Marinelife in the Netherlands. Amplification and sequencing of fragments of the COI (mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit) regions from three individuals identified the species as Cassiopea Andromeda. A fragment of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase (COI) subunit was amplified using the primer pair CasF and CasR (primers published in Maggio et al. 2019, Molecular identity of the non-indigenous Cassiopea sp.
