Dataset and species distribution modeling procedure performed in "Crossing borders: Connectivity analyses reveal potential patterns of range expansion of the Northern raccoon in Europe"

"Raccoon - occurrences&backgrounds.Rdata" contains a table with environmental characteristcs at occurrence and background locations for raccoon in its native range."Raccoon species distribution models.R" is the script used to perform variable selection and regularization of model parameters by using spatially-separated testing data."Output maps.zip" contains the geoTIFF maps of suitaiblity, resistance, and connectivity for the raccoon in Europe, along with a raster indicating areas outside of model calibration, and .qml files that can be used to visualize the maps as they are presented in the paper.
