Whole genome sequencing of Colletotrichum spp. Colletotrichum spaethianum

Colletotrichum is an ascomycete genus with numbers of species known to be the most economically important groups of plant pathogens. They cause anthracnose diseases in a wide range of economically important crops. However, some of their members have reportedly been isolated from healthy plants as endophytes. Here, we attempt whole genome sequencing of various Colletotrichum species to uncover their genomic characteristic and potential that which may differ their lifestyle and behaviour toward host plant.
