Employee ESG perception and organizational commitment in Vietnamese logistics and import–export firms: dataset, codebook, survey instrument and analysis scripts
收藏资源简介:
Anonymised dataset (n = 411), bilingual codebook, survey instrument, qualitative protocol and full analysis scripts for a study of how employees' perceptions of environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices relate to organizational commitment, through meaningful work and perceived organizational support, moderated by person–organization value fit. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaire from employees with at least six months' tenure in logistics and import–export firms in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, between [START DATE] and [END DATE]. Of 600 questionnaires distributed, 411 valid responses were retained after screening for eligibility and careless responding (valid completion rate 68.5%). The materials support replication of the reported partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM), importance–performance map analysis (IPMA), PLSpredict, fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) and PLS-ANN analyses. The repository contains:- The anonymised analytical dataset (411 respondents x 39 measurement items) in .csv format.- A bilingual (Vietnamese–English) codebook giving, for every item, the variable code, its number in the questionnaire, construct and dimension, the full wording in both languages, the response scale, a reverse-coding flag, the source instrument, and whether the item was retained in the final measurement model.- The survey instrument as administered, bilingual, including the informed-consent statement, the screening question, eight background questions and all 39 measurement items grouped by construct.- The semi-structured protocol for the two qualitative rounds (focus group; one-to-one expert interviews) that preceded the survey and were used to refine the instrument.- Eight R scripts reproducing every reported analysis, with a guide mapping each script to the tables it produces, and the calibrated inputs used by the fsQCA and neural-network scripts.- A README documenting the deposit, the sample, the measures and their sources, and the replication workflow. Measurement scales: ESG perception adapted from Oh et al. (2024); meaningful work from the Work and Meaning Inventory (Steger, Dik and Duffy, 2012); perceived organizational support from Eisenberger et al. (1997); affective organizational commitment from Allen and Meyer (1990); person–organization value fit from Cable and DeRue (2002), with two ESG-specific items developed for this study. All items use a five-point Likert scale. Ethics: participation was voluntary and anonymous. Respondents gave informed consent before completing the questionnaire and could withdraw at any time. No personally identifiable information was collected or stored at any stage. The consent statement as presented to respondents is reproduced in the survey instrument file. Anonymisation: in the survey instrument and the qualitative protocol, the names of the host institution, the supervising lecturers, the research team and all qualitative participants have been removed to preserve anonymity during peer review; they will be restored on acceptance.
