Urban flood detection with Sentinel-1 interferometric coherence in arid coastal cities (Piura and Tumbes, Peru, 2017-2026): PlanetScope validation pre-registration, data and code

Version 1 of this record is the pre-registration of the PlanetScope validation of a study on Sentinel-1 interferometric coherence and urban flooding in Piura and Tumbes (Peru), deposited before any PlanetScope scene was ordered or viewed. It fixes the exact scenes to be ordered and their clipped areas, the rules for contingencies (undeliverable scenes, quota cap, minimum sample per test), the water classification rule, the quality control, the six tests with their expected sign and support criteria, and the reporting rule, together with the SHA-256 fingerprints of the code and of the inputs. It is the only pre-registration of this validation; deviations, if any, will be reported with the results. Later versions of this record will add the data and code of the study.
