资源简介:
Our study focused on a non-model freshwater copepod, Leptodiaptomus minutus, which has a broad northern distribution and is a dominant zooplankton species in numerous pond and lake ecosystems. We present pooled whole-genome sequencing that were used to detect signatures of selection to two climatic variables, summer temperature and colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM), and to document patterns of gene flow and genetic drift in L. minutus populations. These responses were measured at two spatial scales: at a latitudinal scale across a broad latitudinal gradient from Southern Quebec to Greenland and a fine spatial scale across a microgeographic climatic gradient in Cape-Race, NF, Canada.
