**Key Customer Challenges**
- Inability to track trends and forecast contracting opportunities: Customers want as much historical federal spending data as possible so that they can anticipate the final details of expected government agency budget allocations and priorities. The lack of easily accessible insights into past and current opportunities, combined with the dynamic nature of the government, makes it hard for government contractors to forecast and develop growth strategies for their business that align with government priorities.
- Lack of Visibility into New and Adjacent Markets: Customers need to source opportunities in new / adjacent parts of the government where they do not have a footprint. They also want to make sure that they have not missed opportunities that they are well-placed to win – but have not been identified by their sales / business development teams. The lack of easily accessible information on these opportunities make it difficult for government contractors to translate strategic operating plans into active sales pipelines.
- Data Accuracy, Validation, and Discovery is Complex and Costly: Customers spend hundreds of thousands a dollar per year (in a labor intense, manual ways) collecting data from various sources to develop strategic operating plans and budgets that align with federal priorities. They want to be able to save the time, resources, and effort associated with data gathering and data cleansing to obtain the information they need.
