Construction-coincident and pre-road landslide inventory and derived data, Lali and Baku Gad watersheds, Far-Western Nepal

This dataset supports the study "Road Construction-Triggered Landslides: daily-resolution attribution and pre-construction suitability mapping in the Lali and Baku Gad watersheds of Himalaya, Far-Western Nepal". It comprises the derived spatial and tabular data underpinning the analysis: daily road-construction lines, daily landslide-failure polygons, and the quarterly landslide inventory (2016–2025) for the Lali Gad and Baku Gad watersheds, Darchula District, Nepal, together with the attribute table of construction-coincident failures (CCF_deposit.csv). Data sources and access: PlanetScope imagery was accessed under Planet's Education and Research Program and cannot be redistributed (available from Planet, https://www.planet.com). CHIRPS rainfall data are publicly available (Funk et al., 2015). Raw daily rain-gauge records are held by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Government of Nepal, and are subject to its data-sharing policy; accordingly, raw gauge values are not included here, and only the derived rainfall classifications are provided. All analysis was performed in PyGILE-Plus v1.1.0 (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18512474). These data are under embargo until 31 March 2027 as they underpin a forthcoming companion study.
