Raw reads obtained from total RNA of five pools of Aedes vexans mosquitoes shotgun sequenced in a HiSeq2000 (150-bp SE reads). The adults of the mosquito Aedes vexans used were collected in Northwest Senegal in 2014 and 2015. Five pools of Ae. vexans adults were generated with between 3 and 33 individuals per pool.
