1.25Gpbs NRZ (provided by a standard SFP) transmission over the air at 60GHz

This set of data contains binary data streams, after converged fiber-Wireless-fiber transmission, captured via a Real-time Oscilloscope (RTO). More specifically, the traffic generated by a 1G SFP was at first detected by a photoreceiver, then propagated over a 1m directional wireless link and finally transmitted over an additional optical link which was realized via a conventional intensity modulation/direct detection (IM/DD) scheme. The air transmission was supported through a pair of up/down-conversion radio units operated at 60GHz.  The experimental setup has been also included as a .jpeg in the dataset.

The .bin data provided within this dataset consist of the samples, captured via the RTO, at a 40GSamps/s sampling rate. A screenshot of the captured data on the oscilloscope is also provided, presenting both the time domain signal and its spectrum, as it has been calculated Fast Fourier Transformation tool of the RTO.
