Protecting Ecosystems and Restoring Environments

This sub project will protect Ramsar and World Heritage sites and values, in addition to species and ecosystems of national significance occurring in the Hunter-Central Rivers Region. Urban waterways and coastal environments restoration will occur through targeted actions. These outcomes will be achieved through building capacity and negotiating partnerships for onground investment delivery with land managers and communities engaged in project implementation. The connectivity and resilience of landscapes and communities will be enhanced through strategic actions that address key threats to ecosystems and restore environments.
