WV Public Airports

Point Shapefile obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the US Department of Transportation Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) providing the location all public, private, commercial, military, and general aviation airports within West Virginia. Information included in this feature class is the Site Number, Airport Type, Location, FAA Location Identifier, FAA District, State County City, Airport Name, Ownership, Use, Owner Name and Address, Approach LAT/Long, Airport Elevation, Magnetic Verification, Traffic, FAA Navigational Chart, Distance and Direction From, Route Traffic Center, FAA Office FSSS, Opening/Operational Data, Airport Status, Operating Certificate, Customs facility, Military Aircraft, Inspection facilities, power plants, Oxygen, Lighting, beacon ATC, Aircraft operations by type, airport services, IACO Code, Lat and Long, Enplaments, passengers, Wind indicator, NWS, and aircraft storage facilities (Hanger, Tie Down). Data is in the NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_17N coordinate system.
