Datasets for the manuscript 'Quantifying Ice Multiplication from Freezing Raindrop Fragmentation'

This repository contains data products derived from Video In Situ Snowfall Sensor data observed during deployment in Hyytiälä, Finland, from 16 February 2024 for individual hydrometeor classes. These data products were used in the manuscript 'Quantifying Ice Multiplication from Freezing Raindrop Fragmentation'. The files are given in NetCDF format and contain minutly averaged particle size distributions, concentrations and numerous additional parameters, which are described within the datasets themselves. Files ending with the suffix '_vels.nc' also contain velocity distributions.
