Replication Package for: The Environmental Impact of Multinational Firms in Africa

This replication package accompanies the article “The Environmental Impact of Multinational Firms in Africa.” It includes the R code used to generate the main empirical results reported in the paper, including the baseline estimates, estimates with Conley standard errors, results under alternative sample restrictions, and the event study analysis.Due to data confidentiality restrictions, the underlying Orbis data are proprietary and cannot be shared publicly. To enable reproducibility of the computational workflow, we have replaced all firm-level variables with randomly generated data. The code that replaced the Orbis data is also included.
