RNA-Seq for Pseudomonas putida strains

In this study, we utilized RNA-Seq to better understand the differences in growth and production between Pseudomonas putida KT2440-derived strain GB062 and the genome-reduced Pseudomonas putida EM42-derived strain CA055. RNA-Seq was also conducted for the parental strains Pseudomonas putida KT2440 and Pseudomonas putida EM42. Genome reduction is a popular avenue to improve biocatalysts such as Pseudomonas putida. Exploring the impacts genome reduction has on transcriptomics can inform future efforts to improve Pseudomonas putida as an industrial biocatalyst.
