Such magnetic arms are places of high ordering of the magnetic field. In We.zgowiec et al. openPar2016 comma AA comma 585 comma A3closePar comma we presented that the strongly polarized radio emission comma as well as a slight increase in the temperature of the hot gas in the areas of the magnetic arms of NGC comma 6946 may be caused by the magnetic reconnection processes. To further investigate this phenomenon we selected a sample of galaxies that show the magnetic arms and allow a detailed spectral analysis of the X-ray emission. The most exceptional among these galaxies is NGC comma 628 comma with by far the lowest rotation velocity.
