There are currently no effective treatments for renal fibrosis of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Therefore, this study constructed an animal model of CKD and identified differentially expressed genes in renal tissues of CKD animal models using RNA-seq. The aim is to provide potential molecular mechanisms for the treatment of CKD. Overall design: We established a model of CKD damage in 8-week-old male Sprague–Dawley (SD) rats. We got kidney tissue. RNA purity and quantification were evaluated using the NanoDrop 2000 spectrophotometer. RNA integrity was assessed using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. The libraries were sequenced on an llumina Novaseq 6000 platform.
