资源简介:
Full edition for scientific use. The principle of free movement allows citizens of the European Union (EU) to cross EU borders to live, work, or travel in other EU member states. It is one of the “four freedoms”, and a fundamental principle of the EU. However, since the so-called “refugee movements” in 2015, free movement within Europe and migration into the EU are fiercely debated topics, particularly in the media. This dataset allows users to compare public opinion on free movement within EU as well as attitudes toward migration from outside of the EU. Further, respondents media use was investigated. The dataset was collected within the Horizon 2020 Project REMINDER. It conists of three panel waves in Spain, UK, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, and Romania. The data can be linked to the „REMINDER: Short Term Media Analysis on Migration 2017-2018“ (doi:10.11587/T86DVG).
