Metagenomic sequencing for intestinal microbiome of Pacific white shrimp after feeding with 4 compounds

Pacific white shrimp, a successful model of worldwide utilizing marine ectothermic resources, is facing huge losses due to multiple diseases relevant to intestinal microbiota (IM) dysbiosis. Increasing evidences show IM dysbiosis of shrimp suffered from white feces symdrome is closely related to specific compounds in intestine, including oleic acid, succinic acid, caprylic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. Herein, shrimp was fed with 4 compounds, and a metagenomic sequencing of shrimp intesinal microbiota was conducted to evaluate the variations of shrimp intestinal function.
