Several species of parasitic barnacles (Rhizocephalans) have infected to the Asian shore crab, Hemigrapsus sanguineus in Oga Peninsula, Akita, Japan. This project intends to obtain normal Hemigrapsus sanguineus database to subtract the contaminated sequences from parasitic barnacle database. The library also helps to understand the normal reproductive biology, which should be modified of controlled after the infection of parasitic barnacles.
